> If you were officially preregistered for the XMAS Party ’09 Show & Drag, then:
Show Car/Bike entrants can enter again for FREE!
Vendors from this past Xmas Party 09 can get a booth for 1/2 PRICE!
Drag Race entrants can carry over their entry as is.
* Any additional persons or entry vehicles must register as a new entrant.
> New Registrations: (same as XMAS Party registration rules)
SHOW CARS/BIKES: (Show cars are limited to pre 1965)
Pre-registration = $20.00
$20.00 will cover 1 car and up to 2 people
Additional persons over the age of 12 must pay general admission of $5.00 each.
Register at the gate = $30.00
$30.00 will cover 1 car and up to 2 people.
Additional riders over the age of 12 must pay general admission.
DRAG RACE CARS: (Limited to pre 1969, Preregistration Required)
Drag race 1/8 mile. timed only = $40.00
$40.00 includes 1 car entry and 2 general admission tickets
Drag race car for this year is limited to pre 1969 cars and must be pre registered.
You must submit pre entry form with photo of your car.
If you bring a trailer, you’ll need to pay $20.00 for trailer parking

Everyone came to the wet event on last Saturday.
Thank you very much for coming to the MOONEYES Xmas Party 09 Show & Drag.
The show is over, but there’s an incomplete feeling that still lingers. So, to make things complete and fulfill the event, we want to hold the Xmas Party again in the summer of 2010. We consulted with the Speedway and they actually felt incomplete too and agreed.
So, on July 18, 2010 (Sunday), one time only, we will have a Make Up Event titled,
“MOONEYES SUMMER 2010″ (Xmas Party Make Up Dry Event).
Normally in July, we have the MOONEYES Open House. However, this time we’ll have it at Irwindale Speedway as an event. It will be summer so there’s less chance of rain and more likely to be a Dry Event. Also the days are longer so everyone can have fun and enjoy the day.

This redo/make up event is because of the support and turn out of all the people that showed up to the event last week (12 Dec ’09) in the horrible weather. This event is the best way to show our gratitude and appreciation to the entrants and all the people that were there.

MOONEYES SUMMER MAKE OVER PARTY
(Xmas Show Make Up Dry Event)
Date/Time: July 18, 2010 Irwindale Speedway / 0900-1800
The MOONEYES XMAS Party Show and Drag was held in the rain on December 12th.
Despite the rain, we had a great turn out. We were overwhelmed by everybody’s dedication and appreciate everyone who took part in a wet ’09 XMAS Show.
Almost all the vendors showed up and well over 600 cars.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the drag races and cackle, but all 3 bands played great music, we held a successful art auction and pin-up girl contest. And people stuck around to the very end in sometimes pouring rain.
“It was a memorable show none the less. I’m sure people will be talking about it for years to come.”
So, to show our appreciation and make up to vendors and people who drove their cars out in rain, we’ll have an ’09 Xmas Party Show and Drag MAKE OVER!
Tentative Confirmed date is set for Sunday July 18th at Irwindale Speedway.
More details & information will be posted on our website as they are made. Stay tuned.

It rained, stopped, rained and then it rained again. Everybody was soaked. In an area that seldom rains, it seems that most people were not equipped with umbrellas or rain gear so most people were soaking wet.

While visiting Bonneville, the pure white like snow landscape is breathtaking. However, that’s salt and not snow. If it were snow, it would melt and there wouldn’t be much to do afterwards. The salt on the other hand stays white and does not melt away.

MOONEYES Open House was on Saturday, July 11, 2009. It’s an annual, one day event at the Mooneyes USA shop in Sannta Fe Springs, California. It’s the Mooneyes way to say thank you to everyone that supports Mooneyes. Not only were there free drinks and burgers, but the back of the lot was made into a garage and junk sale with all sorts of parts are bargain prices. By 10AM, half of it was gone! People were waiting as early as 6AM and people were still showing up after 3PM! So many cars and people constantly flowing really kept the day moving fast. Along with all the cool cars and bikes, live music was performed by Hot Rod Trio and followed right after by The Dynotones. Inside the retail shop, it was packed all day with people catching the no-tax savings of almost 10% OFF anything. The weather, hot rods, kustoms, bikes, cool people, live music and fun under sunny Southern California is the way to go with MOON! I’ll let the pictures take over from here.
