On 24 April (Saturday) in Japan, MOONEYES Japan released it’s new catalog/magazine, MOON ILLUSTRATED Magazine Vol.5 (MIM#5) and is now available for purchase via MOONEYES in Japan and USA.
This new catalog format contains a ton of new products along with a full catalog lineup plus cool features with rich content and articles – complete in English and Japanese text. You can order MIM directly from MOONEYES online store in Japan or wait and order it domestically from our website.
Each release of MIM keeps getting better. MIM#5 features some of the coolest people and builds to date including living legend fine artist Robert Williams, his artwork and his hot rod roadster. Also featured is Suzanne Williams, her incredible daily driven ’34 Ford Tudor as well as her fine art pieces too. They will both be attending as special guests to the Hot Rod Custom Show in December 2010 in Yokohama Japan this year!
There’s still more in this issue! Salinas Boys, Cole Foster and his awesome ’36 Ford Coupe is featured as well as the custom Yamaha SR motorcycle he built last year, now appropriately called “Salinas Solo”. There’s a cool article about DB Custom Leather, Duane Ballard along with his two 70s style Honda choppers including some of his talented leather works. A cameo appearance by Rico Fodrey, in a photo filled So-Cal Honda choppers article. The Freakin’ Four CB500 that was painted last year by HARPOON Kustom Painting is featured as well. Another popular feature of this magazine article portion are the car guy lifestyles they feature, Shige Suganuma (owner of MOON) and his recollection of Custom Memories. This issue features how he got into Chevy El Caminos back in the day. The car guy articles in this issue are awesome where they showcase and profile two Japanese men that have lived their entire life in Japan yet surround their life with American Car Culture.
