The welder that has been in use in the Machine Shop made its last bead and stopped working recently. The company that made this one (P&H) went out of business just recently in 1961(!) and so it couldn’t get replacement parts or easily get it repaired.
So it was retired, along with its cool cast aluminum foot pedal mechanism. We had a new welder (Miller) delivered to the Machine Shop.
However, the only thing is it’s so new that it really stands out among the other machines.
