There used to be a Ford Assembly Plant in Yokohama, close to MOONEYES Area-1, from 1927 through 1941.

In the background is the Bay Bridge, on the right side is HONMOKU and to the left is TOKYO.
Parts were imported from the USA and assembled in Japan at a Knockdown Production factory which stood behind this building.

One of those vehicles that was built there was this 1934 Ford Phaeton. Of course, being built in Japan, it’s right-hand-drive (RHD) and the gauges are in kilometers.
It’s very hard to find those cars in Japan because of WWII.
