Here is a snapshot of Mooneyes USA’s, famous sign of Eyeball and yellow shop building which was taken from street in front of the shop on Norwalk Blvd. Its an popular photography angle to take pictures for advertisements and also for our customer’s souvenir pictures as well.
To keep our trademark Moon Yellow clean, Dean Moon Jr. has been painting the building for about 10 days. He mixes a special blend of paint colors to come up with our famous Moon yellow. When we ask him what paint code he uses for the Moon Yellow, Dean just smiles and says its a secret. He came in everyday eagerly to try and finish the painting before our untimely rain storms brought in winter rain. He started from the show room building and finished up one side up to the warehouse until it started to rain. He still has the machine shop building to paint. He Hopes to finish by the end of March. His dedication to paint the building yellow brought a little sunshine into our cold and winter days. Thanks Dean Jr.
